Personal medicine for acute treatment
The objective of the study was to obtain “proof of concept” of the value of the PMP test. The PMP test was used as an integrated part of a medication review performed for acutely admitted elderly patients. The endpoints include an evalution of the proportion of therapy problems identified by the PMP test alone or as a supplement to doctor and pharmacist medication review.
Current status: The study was initiated October 2018 at the Emergency Department at Hvidovre Hospital in collaboration with the research department at Amager-Hvidovre Hospital. The results are expected to be published Q2 2021.
